Volunteer Opportunities
You can be an integral part of this year’s In-Theatre Festival.
Without the committed help of many, many film-loving volunteers there would be no festival. Your time and energy make all the difference! How much time jobs require varies from a few hours to a few days in October. Help is needed working in the FHFF Office, at the Gala, and at all film venues.

FILM VENUE
VOLUNTEER
Help to welcome and admit filmgoers, direct audience members, answer questions, scan and sell tickets, and assist with voting. Choose from our San Juan Community Theatre, Grange, and the Palace Theater film venues. Join a group of great volunteers who truly are the face of the Friday Harbor Film Festival! Training, support, and gratitude provided.
OFFICE STAFF
VOLUNTEER
Join the team at the FHFF Office!
Help prepare for the festival and assist in the office during Festival Week under the direction of FHFF staff. Assist with ticket sales and distribution, greet filmmakers, assist in the private Filmmakers' Lounge, provide information, help with film venue set up.
PROJECTIONIST
VOLUNTEER
Digital projectionists needed at the San Juan Community Theatre (Whittier and Gubelman) and the Grange for shifts throughout the festival, 10/24- 10/27/2024. Training, support & gratitude provided! Projectionist/lighting are also needed for Special events - GALA and AWARDS CEREMONY at the Whittier.
